I had the pleasure of photographing the up and coming rock band Eat Me. Their explosive live shows and great on stage charisma gives makes them a joy to watch. I photographed them for a London based Punk/Rock promotion company 'The Weekly Wind Down' at a small venue which allowed the crowd to get more involved. This was after the band had just been touring in France. They have also previously toured with the grunge band Milk Teeth who are signed to Hopeless Records. Eat Me have just been signed to Venn Records so exciting times are to follow for them.
The small venue allowed to to get close up shots of the band capturing their passion. As the band is very engaging and energetic live, I wanted to put this across through the photos I captured. I chose to have photos both in black and white and colour. I feel black and white photography with live music adds a more dramatic feel.
These photos were shot on a Canon 70D with a Canon 50mm F1.4 and edited in Adobe Lightroom.
